Oko Polytechnic students compelled to write exam in a dark hall (photos)



It's deplorable how the Nigerian educational system has turned out, many institutions of the country has suffered a great deal and the one which focused on building it's future is gradually hitting the rocks. 

Thought provoking pictures of a school in the south eastern Nigeria, where students are compelled to write an exam in an unpleasant condition emerged on internet and it's quite saddening. 

Science Laboratory Technology student's of Oko Polythenic in Anambra state suffered a great deal on Tuesday, May 15, as they were subjected by their lectures to write their exam in a dark hall using their mobile phones to illuminate the hall.

The students in between murmuring and discomfort oblige to the idea as they struggled with their pens and paper writing their exam at night in a poorly lit room. See photos below.

Student from the university of Benin shared a photo of their examination paper, from the course; 'Literature, popular culture and mass media' and the questions are so hilarious. 

The examiner in one of the questions asked the students to explain, how 'shaku shaku' a trendy Nigerian dance style in Olamide's song 'Science Student' influences the music culture of people.
