Nigeria’s senior lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has been appointed by Muhammadu Buhari to represent Delta state on the board of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation just few weeks after he was made the spokesperson of the president’s campaign organisation.
Keyamo was appointed with six others as members of the board of the NDIC. President Buhari’s letter conveying the announcement was read by Bukola Saraki on Tuesday, May 8, on the floor of the Senate.
Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been appointed by the President Muhammadu Buhari campaign organisation as its spokesperson ahead of the 2019 general election as confirmed by a letter signed by Rotimi Amaechi. Amaechi, the transport minister and former governor of Rivers state, is the director-general of the organisation, which targets Buhari’s success at the polls in 2019.
